Public Health Specialists Act Article 4
Any person meeting the following qualifications is eligible to participate in a public health specialist examination:1. Graduate with the diploma from a public health department, school, college or program in a public or registered private university, independent college or overseas university or independent college recognized by the Ministry of Education.2. Graduate with the diploma from a medical or public health related department, school, college or program in a public or registered private university, independent college or overseas university or independent college recognized by the Ministry of Education and having acquired at least 18 credits with public health, thereby, supporting documents are required.3. Graduate with the diploma from a medical or public health related department, school, college or program in a public or registered private university, independent college or overseas university or independent college recognized by the Ministry of Education and having performed in public health related work for at least 3 years, thereby, supporting documents are required.The scope and duration of the “public health credit” referred to in subparagraph 2, the “medical or public health related department, school, college or program” referred to in subparagraph 3 and the “public health related work” referred to in subparagraph 3 of the previous paragraph shall be determined by the central competent authority.

具下列資格之一者，得應公共衛生師考試：
一、公立或立案之私立大學、獨立學院或符合教育部採認規定之國外大學、獨立學院公共衛生學系、所、組、學位學程畢業，領有畢業證書。
二、公立或立案之私立大學、獨立學院或符合教育部採認規定之國外大學、獨立學院醫事或與公共衛生相關學系、所、組、學位學程畢業，領有畢業證書，並曾修習公共衛生十八學分以上，有證明文件。
三、公立或立案之私立大學、獨立學院或符合教育部採認規定之國外大學、獨立學院醫事或與公共衛生相關學系、所、組、學位學程畢業，領有畢業證書，並曾從事公共衛生相關工作滿三年以上，有證明文件。
前項第二款所稱公共衛生學分與第二款、第三款所稱醫事或與公共衛生相關學系、所、組、學位學程及第三款所稱公共衛生相關工作範圍、年資之認定，由中央主管機關為之。
一、公立或立案之私立大學、獨立學院或符合教育部採認規定之國外大學、獨立學院公共衛生學系、所、組、學位學程畢業，領有畢業證書。
二、公立或立案之私立大學、獨立學院或符合教育部採認規定之國外大學、獨立學院醫事或與公共衛生相關學系、所、組、學位學程畢業，領有畢業證書，並曾修習公共衛生十八學分以上，有證明文件。
