Public Health Specialists Act Article 14
In case of emergency or material public health incident, the competent authority may designate public health specialists to carry out the activities under the first paragraph of the previous Article. Public health specialists shall not refuse thereto without justification.The costs or losses incurred by public health specialists in carrying out the designated activities under the previous paragraph shall be compensated by the competent authority. The rules about qualifications and procedure for seeking compensation, the approval of the scope of costs or losses, the manner of compensation and other relevant matters shall be determined by the central competent authority.

主管機關因突發緊急或重大公共衛生事件，得指定公共衛生師辦理前條第一項業務，公共衛生師非有正當理由，不得拒絕。
公共衛生師辦理前項指定業務所生之費用或損失，主管機關應給與相當之補償；其補償之申請資格、程序、費用或損失範圍之認定、補償方式及其他相關事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
