Regulations Governing Disability Assessment Article 12
Under any of the following circumstances, an assessment institution may submit a report of an incomplete assessment to the special municipality or county (city) health authority and close the case:(1) The applicant has died.(2) The applicant terminates the assessment.(3) The assessment remains incomplete for more than six months due to reasons attributable to the applicant.(4) The assessment is terminated due to other unforeseeable circumstances with the approval of the special municipality or county (city) health authority where the applicant resides.

有下列情形之一者，鑑定機構得向直轄市、縣（市）衛生主管機關提出未完成鑑定之報告，並予結案：
一、申請人死亡。
二、申請人終止鑑定。
三、申請人因個人因素超過六個月仍未完成鑑定。
四、因其他不可預知情事，經所在地直轄市、縣（市）衛生主管機關核准終止鑑定。
