If necessary, the office of either director or deputy director of the medical affairs-related departments under the Ministry, as well as one fifth of the total number of counselors and senior specialists may be assumed by related Class I senior ranking medical personnel pursuant to the Medical Personnel Act.The official ranks, grades and quotas for the positions within the Ministry will be stipulated separately via an organizational chart.

本部有關醫事業務司司長或副司長其中一人及技監、簡任技正員額總數五分之一，必要時得依醫事人員人事條例規定，由師（一）級之相關醫事人員擔任。
