Farmer Health Insurance Act Article 4
The Central Bureau of Social Insurance established by the central competent authority is the Insurer of this Insurance. Before the Central Bureau of Social Insurance is established, the Bureau of Labor Insurance shall temporarily deal with the business regarding this Insurance and act as the insurer.A Farmer Health Insurance Supervisory Commission shall be organized in order to supervise the operation of this Insurance and review the disputes related to this Insurance. In principle, the representatives of the related departments, farmers, and experts shall respectively account for 1/3 of the total number of the commissioners.The organizational regulations of the Farmer Health Insurance Supervisory Commission and the Regulations on review of the disputes regarding this Insurance shall be prepared by the central competent authority, and then reported to the Executive Yuan for approval and promulgation.

本保險由中央主管機關設立之中央社會保險局為保險人。
在中央社會保險局未設立前，業務暫委託勞工保險局辦理，並為保險人。
為監督本保險業務及審議保險爭議事項，由有關機關代表、農民代表及專家各占三分之一為原則，組織農民健康保險監理委員會行之。
農民健康保險監理委員會組織規程及農民健康保險爭議事項審議辦法，由中央主管機關擬訂，報請行政院核定後發布之。
