Fishermen Associations Act Article 14-1
In the event that there are two regional fishermen associations or above in a municipal city or county (city), they may jointly apply to the competent authority of the municipal city or county (city), and merge as one regional fishermen association after the application is approved.A regional fishermen association, within six months from the date that the competent authority of municipal city or county (city) granting approval for merger, shall complete re-election of elective personnel and re-appointment of a secretary general, whose terms of office shall expire at the end of that term.

同一直轄市或縣（市）二個以上區漁會，得共同向直轄市或縣（市）主管機關申請核准後，合併組織一個區漁會。
區漁會應自直轄市或縣（市）主管機關核准合併之日起六個月內，完成選任人員改選及總幹事改聘，其任期或聘期至該屆任期屆滿為止。
