For any person who holds the Certificate of Fishing Vessel Officer issued before the amendment of these regulations as promulgated on 29 June 2001 but does not apply for the renewal of the said Certificate before 30 June 2006, he/she may apply for Certificate of Fishing Vessel Officer of the new system prior to 23 May 2014.
