Food Administration Act Article 6
The Competent Authority shall conduct surveys and compile statistics on the production, consumption, costs, and prices of major foods. Additionally, it shall establish information on farming households and cultivated land. This information will serve as the basis for planning the production, marketing, and management of foods.The information on farming households and cultivated land mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall include farming households' household registration records, land cadastre, information on actual cultivators, and cultivation records. The household registration, land cadastre, and tax information necessary for filing can be required of the household registration, land administration, and tax authorities, respectively. Farming households are responsible for declaring information on the actual cultivators and cultivation records.

主管機關應辦理主要糧食生產、消費、成本與價格之調查、統計，並建立農戶耕地資料，作為策劃糧食產銷及管理之依據。
前項農戶耕地資料，應包括農戶之戶籍、耕地之地籍、實際耕作人及耕作紀錄；其建檔所需戶籍、地籍、稅籍資料，得洽請戶政、地政及稅捐稽徵機關提供；實際耕作人、耕作紀錄資料，由農戶申報之。
