Food Administration Act Article 12
In the event of natural disasters or sudden incidents causing an unbalanced food supply and demand, the Competent Authority shall submit the following information to the Executive Yuan for approval of public announcement and management:1.The period, quantity, and price of food sales and purchases.2.Food storage, transportation, and processing.3.Emergency purchase and sale of food through ration distribution.

主管機關因天然災害或突發事變，致糧食供需失調或有失調之虞時，對於下列事項應報請行政院核備公告管理：
一、關於糧食買賣之期限、數量及價格。
二、關於糧食儲藏、運輸及加工。
三、關於糧食之緊急徵購及配售。
