Safety Standard of Machinery, Equipment and Tools Article 21
The operating portion for the emergency stop device of the press machine shall meet the following provisions:1. They have red- protruding- type buttons or others with significant identification to be quickly, efficiently and manually operated.2. They are provided in each operating zone.3. For the press machine with straight sides or other similar models, whose maximum distance between both straight sides is over 1800 millimeters, the emergency stop devices shall be set respectively in the front side and the rear side.

衝壓機械緊急停止裝置之操作部，應符合下列規定：
一、紅色之凸出型按鈕或其他簡易操作、可明顯辨識及迅速有效之人為操作裝置。
二、設置於各操作區。
三、有側壁之直壁式衝壓機械及其他類似機型，其台身兩側之最大距離超過一千八百毫米者，分別設置於該側壁之正面及背面處。
