Enforcement Rules of the Labor Pension Act Article 33-1

Where a worker has elected to receive a monthly pension, the worker may, within thirty days from the date on which the first monthly pension payment is deposited into their account, apply to change to a lump-sum pension payment; such change shall be limited to one time only.Where an application for such change under the preceding paragraph is approved by the Bureau of Labor Insurance, the Bureau shall, based on the principal and accrued dividends already contributed to the individual pension account at the time the monthly pension was originally approved, issue the difference in a lump sum after deducting the amount already disbursed.
