Enforcement Rules of the Labor Pension Act Article 21-1
When self-employed persons apply to make voluntary pension contributions in accordance with the Act, they shall submit a photocopy of their national identification card or Alien Resident Certificate, and complete an agreed authorization for automatic transfer of labor pension contributions through a financial institution. Where deemed necessary, the Bureau of Labor Insurance may verify supporting documents related to the self-employed person’s occupational status.Where there are changes or errors in the name, date of birth, National Identification Number or Alien Resident Certificate number, registered domicile, or contact address of a self-employed person, the person shall submit a photocopy of the National Identification Card or Alien Resident Certificate to the Bureau of Labor Insurance to process the change.

自營作業者依本條例申報自願提繳退休金時，應檢附國民身分證或居留證影本，並於金融機構完成約定委託轉帳代繳勞工退休金。
勞保局認有必要時，得查對自營作業相關佐證文件。
