Enforcement Rules of the Employment Insurance Act Article 8-1

When an insured unit files an enrollment application for its employees falling under the categories listed below, in addition to complying with the preceding article, it shall also submit the relevant supporting documents required for each category:1.For those covered under Subparagraph 2, Paragraph 1, Article 5 of the Act: a copy of a valid document with proof of residency in Taiwan.2.For those covered under Paragraph 1, Article 25 of the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals: a copy of a valid permanent residence document in Taiwan, along with relevant supporting documents proving status as a foreign professional, foreign specialist professional, or foreign senior professional.Where the ROC national identification card is required as prescribed in these enforcement rules, the ROC alien residence certificate for the insured described in the preceding paragraph shall be needed.
