Tour guides who have obtained graduation certificates or tour guide licenses but have not engaged in tour guide services for three consecutive years must undergo training again upon receipt or renewal of their professional license before resuming tour guide duties. However, in cases of natural disasters, epidemics, or other valid reasons, the competent central authority may announce an extension based on actual needs.Individuals undergoing retraining as stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall comply with the provisions regarding pre-service training in this regulation. However, the retraining consists of 40 sessions, with each session lasting for 50 minutes.
中文原文 導遊人員管理規則第33條
導遊人員取得結業證書或導遊人員執業證後，連續三年未執行導遊業務者，應重行參加訓練結業，領取或換領執業證後，始得執行導遊業務。
但因天災、疫情或其他事由，中央主管機關得視實際需要公告延長之。
依前項規定重行參加訓練者，準用本規則有關職前訓練之規定。
但重行參加訓練節次為四十節課，每節課為五十分鐘。
