For the purpose of effectively and proactively developing the tourism industry, the central administrative authority shall conduct annual surveys on the tourism market and collect market information and promptly disclose, to be used as reference for developing national policies on the tourism industry.To maintain the environmental quality and natural and cultural landscapes of tourist areas, designated scenic areas, natural and cultural ecology scenic areas, it is permissible as needed to incorporate management mechanisms to regulate the proper number of tourists, allowable recreation behavior, and the vigor of development, and include them in the management plan.
