Act for the Development of Tourism Article 37
The administrative authority may conduct periodical or irregular inspection on the operation, management, and facilities of the operators for tourist hotels, hotels, travel and tourist amusement enterprises, or homestay facilities.The operators of tourist hotels, hotels, travel and tourist amusement enterprises, or host families may not evade, obstruct, or refuse the inspection mentioned in the preceding paragraph, and shall provide necessary assistance.

主管機關對觀光旅館業、旅館業、旅行業、觀光遊樂業或民宿經營者之經營管理、營業設施，得實施定期或不定期檢查。
觀光旅館業、旅館業、旅行業、觀光遊樂業或民宿經營者不得規避、妨礙或拒絕前項檢查，並應提供必要之協助。
