Regulations for the Administration of Hotel Enterprises Article 29
The administrative authority may conduct inspections of the management and business facilities of a hotel enterprise on a regular or an irregular basis.Building management, facilities for fire prevention and emergency exits, air-raid shelters, firefighting equipment, sanitation, and security of a hotel enterprise shall be subject to inspection by a competent authority in accordance with governing laws and regulations. Any irregularity identified in the inspection shall be dealt with directly by the relevant competent authority in accordance with governing laws and regulations.The inspections as mentioned in the preceding two paragraphs may be jointly conducted.

主管機關對旅館業之經營管理、營業設施，得實施定期或不定期檢查。
旅館之建築管理與防火避難設施及防空避難設備、消防安全設備、營業衛生、安全防護，由各有關機關逕依主管法令實施檢查；經檢查有不合規定事項時，並由各有關機關逕依主管法令辦理。
前二項之檢查業務，得聯合辦理之。
