Aircraft Flight Operation Regulations Article 15
No person may serve as Chief Pilot unless he/she knows the content of the operator’s operations manual and operations specifications, and all other pertinent regulations and rules that are necessary to the proper performance of his duties and1. Holds a valid air transport pilot licence with at least one of the type ratings of the aircraft used by the operator; and2. Has at least 3 years of experience as pilot-in-command (PIC) of a large aircraft. However, CAA may grant a deviation from the requirement of this article if it finds that the person has equivalent experience.

機隊主管除應熟悉與其業務相關各類手冊、營運規範及相關民航法規外，並應具備下列各條件：
一、持有至少一種該航空器使用人所用機型之有效民航運輸駕駛員檢定證。
二、擔任大型民用航空器機長三年以上之經驗。
但經民航局確認申請人具有同等之航空經驗者，不在此限。
