Regulations for the Delegation of Certification of Aviation Products, Appliances and Parts Article 8
Certificate of Designated Engineering Representative and Certificate of Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative are valid for one year. The Designated Representative may submit working and relevant training records to apply for renewal 30 days prior to the expiration date. The designated representative renewal for expired certificates or renewal submitted in less than 30 days, must reapply in accordance with Articles 6 or 7.

第六條工程檢定代表證書及第七條製造檢定代表證書之有效期限均為一年。
有效期限屆滿三十日前，檢定代表得檢附檢定代表證書有效期限內之檢定工作紀錄摘要及檢定業務相關之訓練紀錄向民航局申請換證，未於有效期限屆滿三十日前提出換證申請者，應依第六條及第七條規定辦理。
