Medical Examination Standards for Airmen Article 23
In respect of the examinations for ear, nose and throat, none of the followings which affect the airmen’s ability to safely perform duties shall be found:1. Diseases of middle ear or inner ear.2. Diseases of mastoid process.3. Unhealed perforations of the eardrum.4. Blockage of the Eustachian tube.5. Malfunction of vestibulum.6. The abnormal nasal passages in two sides.7. Deformity of upper respiratory tract.8. Other pathological conditions in, or diseases of, ear, nose or throat.

耳、鼻、喉科檢查，不得有足以影響安全執行職務之下列情形之一：
一、中耳或內耳之疾病。
二、乳突疾病。
三、未癒合之耳膜穿孔。
四、耳咽管之阻塞。
五、前庭功能障礙。
六、兩側鼻道通氣不正常。
七、上呼吸道畸形。
八、其他耳、鼻、喉之疾病。
