Regulations Governing Licences and Ratings for Airmen Article 89
Applicant for flight engineer licence shall have demonstrated a level of knowledge appropriate to the privileges granted to the holder of a flight engineer licence in the following subjects:(1) Civil Aviation Act and related laws and regulations.(2) Knowledge of aeronautics.(3) Weight and balance.(4) Aeronautical meteorology.(5) Basic principles of powerplants of aircraft.(6) Principles of operation of instrument on aircraft.(7) General maintenance of aircraft.(8) Aircraft structure.(9) Human factor theory.
