When there is a FSTD MMI component, it shall be clearly placarded at its related FSTD location, a location next to the MMI, or on the control device, and shall be repaired or replaced within 30 days. During the maintenance downtime of such MMI, the FSTD shall not be used for the associated training, checking and examination.When the MMI component prescribed in the previous paragraph cannot be repaired or replaced within 30 days, a letter regarding the extension to the time limit shall be submitted to CAA for approval.

飛航模擬訓練設備有缺件或故障者，應於飛航模擬訓練設備相關位置、相鄰處或操控裝置上明顯標示，並於三十日內修復或更換；維修待料期間，該飛航模擬訓練設備不得被使用於相關訓練及考驗。
前項缺件或故障無法於三十日內修復或更換者，應檢附展延申請書，向民航局申請展延。
