The Law of Ships Article 30
A ship governed by an international convention shall be inspected pursuant to the regulations prescribed in the international convention, and shall possess the certificates specified therein.When the service time of a passenger or cargo ship is over 20 years, an inspection equivalent to the renewal certificate shall be implemented on the second or third anniversary equivalent date within the validity period of the relevant international convention certificate.

適用國際公約之船舶，應依各項國際公約之規定施行檢查，並具備公約規定之證書。
客、貨船船齡超過二十年者，應於相關國際公約證書有效期間內執行第二或第三週年相當期日，施行等同於換發證書之檢查。
