The Law of Ships Article 26
After the special inspection, the ship owner shall apply to the shipping administration authority at the port of calling for periodical inspection every one full year within 3 months before and after the due date.After passing the periodical inspection, the ship shall obtain an endorsement on the Ship Inspection Certificate from the shipping administration authority.

船舶經特別檢查後，於每屆滿一年之前後三個月內，其所有人應向船舶所在地航政機關申請施行定期檢查。
