Seafarer's Service Regulations Article 83-4
Before being assigned to shipboard duties, all persons employed or engaged on a seagoing ship, other than passengers, shall receive approved familiarization training in personal survival techniques or receive adequate guidance.Before being assigned to shipboard duties, all persons employed or engaged on a seagoing ship, which is required to comply with the provisions of ISPS Code, other than passengers, shall receive approved security-related familiarization training.

雇用人對受僱或從事工作於航行船舶之人員，應於指派職務前依航海人員訓練國際公約規定進行人員求生技能之熟悉訓練，或使其獲得充足資訊及指導，並作成紀錄備查。
雇用人對受僱或從事工作於符合國際船舶與港口設施保全章程航行船舶之人員，應於指派職務前依航海人員訓練國際公約規定由船舶保全人員施行保全熟悉訓練，並作成紀錄備查。
