Seafarer's Service Regulations Article 4
A seafarer’s medical examination certificate that has been issued by a foreign hospital shall be verified by R.O.C. embassies, representative offices or other organizations authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or the seafarer shall hold a master’s certificate.
