Regulations for Administrating Ocean Freight Forwarders Article 12

Any vessel carrier which operates in ocean freight forwarding concurrently may be exempted from payment of the security bond if the insured value of its hull & machinery exceeds NT$45,000,000.The insurance period referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be 1 year or more, and the insurance shall not be suspended within the operation period. The carrier shall renew the insurance prior to expiration of the insurance policy, and submit the new policy to the shipping administration for filing and inspection.
中文原文 海運承攬運送業管理規則第12條
船舶運送業兼營海運承攬運送業，其船舶船體保險金額之總額在新臺幣四千五百萬元以上，得免繳保證金。
前項保險期間應在一年以上，且營業期間不得中斷投保，於保險單屆期前應即續保後，檢具新保險單報請航政機關備查。
