Regulations for Passenger Ship Administration Article 50
Any passenger ship shall establish passenger cabins in accordance with the provisions prescribed in this chapter, except:1. A passenger ship which navigates an inland water route which does not exceed three hours; or2. A passenger ship which is approved by the shipping administration authority or ship register institute to carry passengers on weather decks.

客船除下列情形時，應依本章規定設置乘客艙室：
一、航行於內水航線，其航程需時未滿三小時者。
二、其他經航政機關或驗船機構認可之露天甲板搭載乘客者。
