Pilotage Law Article 29
The owner or master of a vessel shall pay pilotage charges after the pilot is hired, no matter whether or not the vessel navigates or shifts within the port or is towed by a tug boat. If the pilot is requested to stay aboard under special circumstances, he/she shall be paid the charges for standing by.The charges mentioned in the previous paragraph shall be paid at the rates established in the tariffs of respective pilotage districts.

引水人經應招僱用後，其所領航之船舶，無論航行與否，或在港內移泊或由拖船拖帶，船舶所有人或船長均應依規定給予引水費；如遇特殊情形需引水人停留時，並應給予停留時間內之各項費用。
