Natural Gas Enterprise Act Article 49
Natural gas enterprises shall conduct regular inspections of the self-installed gas pipelines for their users in the industrial, electrical, cogeneration systems, or transportation sectors and record the results thereof. In non-compliance, the enterprise shall notify the user to rectify the issues within a specified period.The items, cycles, fee calculation methods, and operation procedures for the regular inspections stated in the preceding paragraph shall be submitted to the competent authority of the municipality or county (city), which shall subsequently forward the information to the central competent authority for approval.

天然氣事業應定期檢查工業、電業、汽電共生系統或運輸用戶自設之輸氣管線，並記載其結果；如不合規定，應通知用戶限期改善。
前項定期檢查之項目、期限、費用計算方式及作業方式，應報經直轄市、縣（市）主管機關轉請中央主管機關核定。
