Water Supply Act Article 57
The chief engineer and engineers employed by a water supply enterprise must be registered professional engineers. Other construction, management, testing, and operating personnel of a water supply enterprise shall possess professional skills and knowledge and have passed specific examinations.The central authority-in-charge shall stipulate the measures for the exanimations pursuant to Paragraph 1 hereof.

自來水事業所聘僱之總工程師、工程師，均以登記合格之工程技師為限。
其他施工、管理、化驗、操作等人員，應具有專科之技術，並經考驗合格。
