Water Act Article 72-1
When installing a structure over a waterway or crossing the foundation of a water work facility, the proprietor shall apply for the approval of the authority-in-charge and construct under its supervision.Digging and quarry activities are not allowed within a prescribed distance up and downstream the structure under the preceding paragraph, unless such activity is necessary for the safety and maintenance of water work. The safety distance shall be promulgated and publicly announced by the authority-in-charge.

設置穿越水道或水利設施底部之建造物，應申請主管機關核准，並接受施工指導。
在前項建造物上下游之規定距離內，除基於維護水利安全之必要外，不得為挖掘行為或採取砂石；其距離由主管機關訂定公告之。
