The Commodity Inspection Act Article 59

If the obligatory inspection applicant of a commodity subject to inspection violates the provisions governing the labeling of the commodity as set out in Article 11 or Article 12 of this Act, they shall be notified to correct the violation within a specified time limit. If the applicant fails to correct the violation within the specified time limit, they shall be fined an amount no less than New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) 100,000 but no more than NTD 1,000,000.If the obligatory inspection applicant of a commodity subject to inspection makes false or incorrect labeling on such a commodity, they shall be fined an amount no less than NTD 150,000 but no more than NTD 1,500,000.
