Foreign Trade Act Article 17-1
By stating the facts or providing evidence, citizens may report false labeling of origin by exporters/importers to the competent authority.The competent authority may reward the informant referred to the preceding paragraph and the identification of the informants shall be kept confidential. The regulations of rewarding methods and other relevant matters shall be prescribed by the competent authority.

民眾得敘明事實或檢具證據資料，向主管機關檢舉出進口人產地標示不實之行為。
主管機關對於依前項規定檢舉之人得予以獎勵，其身分應予保密；其獎勵方式及其他相關事項之辦法，由主管機關定之。
