Integrated Circuit Layout Protection Act Article 25
Unless otherwise prescribed in this Act, the rights in a circuit layout shall become extinguished under any one of the following:1. If the term of the circuit layout right expires, the right shall become extinguished from the day after the expiration date;2. If an owner of the circuit layout rights dies without an heir, the circuit layout rights shall become extinguished on the date when the rights are vested in accordance with the laws;3. If a legal entity dissolves, the circuit layout rights are vested with the local governing body in accordance with the laws; or4. If the rights in a circuit layout are abandoned by the owner, the rights shall become extinguished from the date on the written declaration.

有左列情事之一者，除本法另有規定外，電路布局權當然消滅：
一、電路布局權期滿者，自期滿之次日消滅。
二、電路布局權人死亡，無人主張其為繼承人者，電路布局權自依法應歸屬國庫之日消滅。
三、法人解散者，電路布局權自依法應歸屬地方自治團體之日消滅。
四、電路布局權人拋棄者，自其書面表示之日消滅。
