Industrial Innovation Statute Article 9

The central government authorities in charge of the industries concerned may provide subsidies, incentives or counseling to promote the following matters:1. Promoting industrial innovation or research and development (R&D).2. Providing counseling relating to industrial technology and industrial upgrading.3. Encouraging enterprises to establish innovation or R&D centers.4. Assisting in the establishment of innovation or R&D institutions.5. Promoting collaboration between industries, academic institutions, and research institutions.6. Encouraging enterprises to participate in workforce cultivation in schools.7. Ensuring adequate supply of industrial human resources.8. Helping local industries innovate.9. Encouraging enterprises to use big data and open government data to develop and innovate commercial applications or service models.10. Other matters relating to the promotion of industrial innovation or R&D.The regulations governing the recipients of the subsidies, incentives or counseling, the eligibility criteria, the review standards, the application procedures, the reviewing authority, and other related matters, as referred to in the preceding paragraph, shall be prescribed by the central government authorities in charge of the industries concerned.

各中央目的事業主管機關得以補助、獎勵或輔導方式，推動下列事項：
一、促進產業創新或研究發展。
二、提供產業技術及升級輔導。
三、鼓勵企業設置創新或研究發展中心。
四、協助設立創新或研究發展機構。
五、促進產業、學術及研究機構之合作。
六、鼓勵企業對學校人才培育之投入。
七、充裕產業人才資源。
八、協助地方產業創新。
九、鼓勵企業運用巨量資料、政府開放資料，以研發創新商業應用或服務模式。
十、其他促進產業創新或研究發展之事項。
前項補助、獎勵或輔導之對象、資格條件、審核基準、申請程序、核定機關及其他相關事項之辦法，由各中央目的事業主管機關定之。
