Sand and Gravel Excavation Act Article 34

The Competent Authority of the Special Municipality or County (City) shall conduct safety inspections of each sand and gravel excavation field. If a field is found not to comply with the requirements, the Competent Authority shall provide guidance on making improvements within a prescribed time limit; if the improvements are not made within that time limit, or if a disaster has occurred or is likely to occur, it shall notify the field to suspend operations in whole or in part. When necessary, the Central Competent Authority may dispatch personnel to provide guidance and supervision.The sand and gravel excavator or the responsible person of the sand and gravel excavation field shall not refuse, evade, or obstruct the inspections referred to in the preceding paragraph.
