Sand and Gravel Excavation Act Article 18

A sand and gravel excavator shall, within six months starting from the day following receipt of the Sand and Gravel Excavation Permit Certificate, prepare the required documents and apply to the Competent Authority of the Special Municipality or County (City) for the issuance of a Sand and Gravel Excavation Field Registration Certificate, and may commence operations only after the certificate has been issued. However, where there are justifiable reasons, an extension may be applied for before the expiration of that period, no more than twice.The Competent Authority of the Special Municipality or County (City) shall, after verifying that the facilities of the sand and gravel excavation field conform to the submitted sand and gravel excavation plan, issue the Sand and Gravel Excavation Field Registration Certificate and report the issuance to the Central Competent Authority for record.
