The Regulations Governing Labor by Prisoners Article 23
The prisoner for the external work in areas closer to the prison shall may have their meals back in the prison or outside the prison depending on the work situations.The prisoner for the external work in areas farther away from the prison may stay overnight out of the prison when found needed; the prison may designate the location and report to the supervisory authority for approval.The overnight stay location under the preceding paragraph has to be a prison.

監外作業受刑人在離監較近地區作業者，得視作業情形回本監或於監外用餐。
監外作業受刑人在離監較遠地區作業，有於監外留宿必要者，監獄得指定其留宿處所，並報監督機關核准。
前項留宿處所以監獄設置者為限。
