Enforcement Rules of the Crime Victim Rights Protection Act Article 26

1 The Consumer Price Index Cumulative Growth Rate stipulated in Article 57, Paragraph 2 of the Act shall be calculated according to the Annual Consumer Price Index Cumulative Mean published by the central competent authority. The mean number is rounded off to the second decimal place.2 Starting from the second year after the promulgation of the amendment of the Act in January 7, 2023, if the accumulated growth rate for consumer price index in the preceding paragraph reaches positive five percent, the competent authority shall report to the Executive Yuan for approval and adjustment by the end of May of that year.3 The accumulated growth rate for consumer price index referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be recalculated by the competent authority from the next year after the implementation date for the adjustment approved by the Executive Yuan.
