Fee-Charging Standards for the Provision of Government Information by the Ministry of Justice and Its Subordinate Agencies Article 5
An applicant who requests government information for academic research or public interest purposes shall submit relevant supporting documents along with the application. Upon approval, all applicable fees, except for postage which shall be charged based on the actual amount incurred, may be waived or reduced by half.
