The Arbitration Law of ROC Article 16
Parties may request the recusal of an arbitrator under any of the following circumstances:1.Where the arbitrator does not meet the qualifications agreed upon by the parties.2.Where the arbitrator is subject to any of the circumstances specified in Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article.Parties shall not request the recusal of an arbitrator they have selected themselves, except where the grounds for the recusal arise after the selection or were not known until after the selection.

仲裁人有下列各款情形之一者，當事人得請求其迴避︰一、不具備當事人所約定之資格者。
二、有前條第二項各款情形之一者。
當事人對其自行選定之仲裁人，除迴避之原因發生在選定後，或至選定後始知其原因者外，不得請求仲裁人迴避。
