Civil Code Article 756-6

The court may reduce or release the compensation for the guarantor if there is any situation as follows:(1) The situation as prescribed in the first paragraph of the preceding article happened, but the employer does not notify the guarantor immediately;(2) The employer is negligent of the selection and supervision of the employee or his duty of supervision.

有左列情形之一者，法院得減輕保證人之賠償金額或免除之：
一、有前條第一項各款之情形而僱用人不即通知保證人者。
二、僱用人對受僱人之選任或監督有疏懈者。
