A contract for publication is a contract whereby one of the parties agrees to deliver to the other for publication a literary, a scientific, an artistic, or others of the writings, and the latter agrees to print or in other ways to reproduce and publish the said writings.Writing for a publication in a newspaper or a magazine has been published, it is presumed to be constituted the contract for publication.

稱出版者，謂當事人約定，一方以文學、科學、藝術或其他之著作，為出版而交付於他方，他方擔任印刷或以其他方法重製及發行之契約。
