If any one of the joint-debtors has extinguished the obligation by performance, prestation in lieu of performance, lodgment, offset or merger, the other debtors are also released from the obligation.

因連帶債務人中之一人為清償、代物清償、提存、抵銷或混同而債務消滅者，他債務人亦同免其責任。
