Act Governing Retirement, Severance, and Bereavement Compensation for the Teaching and Other Staff Members of Public Schools Article 67
When the cumulative growth rate of the consumer price index published by the Central BAS Agency reaches 5 percent, the monthly pension payment amount received by a staff member after retirement, or the amount of the monthly bereavement compensation or survivor annuity received by survivors, shall be adjusted in accordance with the growth rate. Otherwise, the payment amounts shall be reviewed at least every four years and appropriately adjusted. However, no adjustment shall be made when the growth rate is zero or negative. The related implementation provisions shall be set out in the Enforcement Rules for this Act.

教職員退休後所領月退休金，或遺族所領之月撫卹金或遺屬年金給付金額，於中央主計機關發布之消費者物價指數累計成長率達正百分之五時，應依該成長率調整之；或至少每四年應予檢討，適當調整，但成長率為零或負數時，不予調整；其相關執行規定，於本條例施行細則定之。
