School students do not pay school tuition. The special municipality or county (city) competent authority shall provide books for financially disadvantaged students, and these students are exempt from fees prescribed in the provisions of other ordinances.Public school students are exempt from miscellaneous fees; autonomous regulations governing the various administration fees for some services shall be prescribed by the special municipality or county (city) competent authority.Autonomous regulations governing the miscellaneous fees and administration fees for some services levied by private schools shall be prescribed by the special municipality or county (city) competent authority.

學校學生免納學費；經濟弱勢之學生，由直轄市、縣（市）主管機關供給書籍，並免繳其他法令規定之費用。
公立學校學生免納雜費；各項代收代辦費之自治法規，由直轄市、縣（市）主管機關定之。
私立學校收取雜費及各項代收代辦費之自治法規，由直轄市、縣（市）主管機關定之。
