Act governing of Group lnsurance of Students at Schools at Senior Secondary Level or Below and Young Children at Educare Service lnstitutions Article 15

If the Insured is in one of the categories stipulated in Article 11 and is hospitalized because of sickness or injury and has major surgery within one year from the date that the event occurred, then in addition to the insurance benefit that they are entitled to from the group insurance, they may submit the receipt for the medical expenses and apply ad hoc to the insurer for a subsidy of the surgery expenses.The scope of expenses for the major surgery, the criteria for payment of surgery expenses, and the regulations governing the application procedure referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by the central competent authority.
