Student Guidance and Counseling Act Article 9

Each school shall facilitate student guidance and counseling work by having a dedicated unit or dedicated personnel take charge of the collection, handling, and use of student information; conduct student intelligence, aptitude, and personality tests; survey students’ interests, achievements, and aspirations; and conduct counseling, and consultations.Schools shall designate a place to properly retain student guidance and counseling data as prescribed in the preceding paragraph. The central competent authority shall establish regulations governing the methods and duration of retention and destruction of such data and the collection, processing, and use of student personal data.Those with guidance and counseling specialties should be prioritized for the appointment of the school guidance and counseling administrators.
