The Special Education Act Article 50
In order to encourage colleges and universities with special education departments to establish special education centers to assist identification, instruction, and guidance services, the central competent authority shall allocate a subsidy budget.In order to conduct special education experimental research and provide internships, colleges and universities with special education departments may establish affiliated special education schools (classes).

為鼓勵設有特殊教育系、所之大學校院設置特殊教育中心，協助特殊教育學生之鑑定、教學及輔導工作，中央主管機關應編列經費補助之。
